In the legal battle that has been waging between Phil Waring, ex husband of Lauri Waring, and father to Josh & Sophia, seems Phil has finally won a round. Recently Phil brought a motion to keep Sophia off of Season 3, which begins filming in about a week, and a motion to terminate spousal support. He was paying Lauri 1500 per month in spousal support only. Judge Naughton recently ruled that spousal support would end, and that Lauri would have to pay Phil back for the child support she was receiving while Josh Waring was in the "state run boarding school," with regard to Sophia being included in Season 3 of the RHOC, the judge ruled that Sophia could in fact appear on the show, but not watch it. Huh? Seems little Sophia told the judge she always wanted to be on TV. Call me crazy, but since when does a 10 year old know what is best for them, and if the show has so much adult content that she is prohibited from watching the show, how in the heck can it be good for her to appear on the show? Seems he had a few other rules as well, Sophia has to keep up her grades for one, which is interesting since the show is filmed over the summer and she is presumably out of school. Go figure. Her fiance, George Peterson, continues to wage legal warfare against his ex Wife Gina Peterson, with several court dates coming up.
