Possible Spin-Offs in the Works

From GossipWatch

Scott Dunlop (creator/producer of Real Housewives and Coto de Caza resident) is working with a Los Angeles producer to develop a series, “OC Starlet,” about Kara Keough. And Slade Smiley, now De La Rosa’s ex-fiancĂ©, is moving forward on a series he calls “Just Jo.”

This isn't the first time I have heard about the Slade/Jo spinoff but the Kara deal is news. What do you guys think?

Tamra Barney - 3rd Season JO Replacement

She is a 39 year old stay at home mother originally from Mission Viejo. She has a Real Estate business on the side. She claims that she is different than all the other housewives as she had it rough growing up. Her older son is only here, as she will continually remind all, because she chose not to abort him. He even got a tattoo for mother's day for her on his chest that says Eternally Grateful. Simon, her husband, who works for Fletcher Jones is very controlling and doesn't like her older son in the least bit. While I would agree her older son is 21 and it is time to get the show on the road Simon makes it clear he doesn't want him in the house and doesn't care if he stays or goes. Boy, that's going to make him want to work with you, huh Simon? This family should be interesting. They live in Ladera Ranch, not Coto.

Lauri & George - not your everyday Brady Bunch

From TMZ.com

Check out many of the shows participants on the OC public record website. Now there is reality! Also, it is public information that Lauri Waring had IRS liens; she didn’t like paying her homeowner’s dues and had her water shut off. She had a recent speeding ticket in Sept and many other prior traffic violations. George also has moving violations for not securing kids in seat belts while driving...great dad there Georgie! He and Lauri are promoting their Brady Bunch theory, again, but most of us who know the two of them know what is going on behind the scenes and how George and Lauri are both pathetically out of touch with reality when it comes to raising kids. Yes, George had two affairs while married to his former wife and was sued by his young secretary for wrongful termination. He sued his young secretary and the women he had his second affair to recover a $200,000 ring. He dumped the second affair for Lauri and Lauri dumped Steve the druggie to sleep with Slade just weeks after Jo and he split. Then along comes Mr. Money bags, George, and Laurie latched on to him traveling the world while George left his minor daughter home alone for almost 3 weeks. Lauri, seeking fame and fortune, through her minor son under the bus by telling the entire world about some serious issues he had and then had the audacity to call her daughter out on national TV when the daughter was totally distraught. A real mother would have stopped the cameras from rolling immediately but Lauri milked it for all it was worth at the expense of her daughter’s reputation. George and Lauri were married 9-8-2007 at his home. He hired helicopters to fly over the house for security....as if he were Prince Charles or Tom Cruise. He will be sporting a new Ferrari and God only knows what else to feed his egotistical obsession for attention and look-at-me insecurities.

Slade Smiley Coto Home in Foreclosure

From TMZ.com

Slade's home is in AUCTION status per realtytrac.com. It lists his name and everything.I wonder how the outstanding balance on his loan is $1,408,662 when he "purchased" the house in 2002 for $822,000? Can we not speculate that he took out home equity loans on a home he never really paid for so he could "buy" his & Jo's lifestyle? Easy come, easy go!

Slade Smiley always talks about being rich. He rents/ owns a house in Coto De Caza that has been listed for over 250 days and with only one price reduction. Maybe the reason it is listed is because Slade needs money and the appreciation spigot has been turned off. He bought the place in July of 2005 and less than a month after he bought the place he got a new second pulling out $20k and ten months later he got another new second extracting almost $100k for a total balance on the second of $225k.

It would be obvious things are not going so well when the NOD was filed on 4/30/07 and how he owes his pay option lender $15k at the time. Of course if he only made his minimum payment it would be an additional $50k on top of the $1.28mil he borrowed for the first loan. So assuming only the minimum payment was made we have a total possible mortgage debt of $1.57mil. But wait there is more since he hasn’t paid his property taxes there is an additional $20k and of course a family attorney is owed about $12k and filed a lien against the home. Now the total with the commission and fees he is barely breaking even.

If all those nice suits, diamond rings, high end cars and other various OC life expenses he has some serious credit card debt on top of all that. What happened? He was one of the people who started United Title and an assistant vice president with them. It appears they sold to Land America and he should have received a decent amount for the buy out. Plus he has a highly rated show and is producing his girlfriend/fiance Jo’s singing career. Even the LA Times had recent article about how well he was doing.

The lesson is don’t buy Hummers, MBZs, big diamond rings for girls who won’t marry you and a house you can’t afford. Oh and I almost forgot this house was a past bubble victim when it was bought back by the bank in 1995 at the trustee’s auction for $568k when the unpaid debt was $573k. The bank sold it seven months later for $540k.Slade's house is in foreclosure and he continues to chase around a 26 year old alcoholic while his son has a terminal illness.

RHOC Real Estate Woes

But do they have any curb appeal?
By STEVE SICKLER
Viewing the "Really Whacked Out Housewives of Orange County" is like watching a slow-moving train approach a washed-out bridge. We all know that eventually the self-indulgent and silly lifestyle they are pursuing is going to come crashing down on them.
While you wish them no ill will, it is captivating and hysterical to watch them heading toward their cliff in slow motion. And given how most of the players in this reality show are somehow involved in the real estate market, we all know what's just around the next bend.
Since this whole show was filmed last summer, the impending melt-down in the sub-prime market was still a twinkle in a bond-trader's eye.
Oh, the signs were all there. The guy in "Real Housewives" TV show last season that they made out to be rich – Slade Smiley – was losing his house to foreclosure since he had refinanced it to keep his girlfriend Jo interested in him.
The inventory of homes on the market in Coto was near record levels. But none of this had yet dawned on our housewives, many who had just become interested in real estate.
Take the new housewife Tamra. In this last show she says "I'd been having babies for 20 years…so about a year ago I got my real estate license."
Understandably, anyone with that much experience procreating would be perfect to become a real estate agent in a "down market What better person to sell you a house that is about to lose 20 percent to 40 percent of its value?
It's also fitting that she lives in Ladera Ranch; a place that one of my mortgage broker friends tells me has one of the highest rates of second trust deeds and 100 percent financing in Orange County. Well, he used to be a mortgage broker. I think he is now selling some new miracle fitness drink made from a berry that has already passed through the digestive system of a monkey.
In any case, Ladera Ranch stands to have a whole lot of homes looking for new buyers soon. Tamra should have lots of open houses to sit through and show off her newly tanned cleavage.
Speaking of miracle drinks, we are also treated in this episode to scenes of the "spokes-models" of the OC energy drink trying to learn how to handle a Hummer.
Since they don't yet appear qualified to drive the company Hummer to their "speaking engagements," the energy drink company sends them to driving school. I hope they make it. Otherwise, we are going to miss some really fascinating syllable combinations from these girls.
For example, when they had a meeting at the company to discuss the accidents the girls had driving their energy drink Hummer, one of the girls says "that was soooo two months ago."
Or when one of them gets behind the wheel with her instructor and proceeds to yell out a number of expletives. Or when one of them describes a request as "completely random." No wonder these girls are "spokes-models." They are teaching us all a new language – "Bimboish."
Of course, the eldest spokes-model knows there are better places to make a buck while not making any sense. She is planning on getting her real estate license so she "doesn't have to marry a rich guy."
This, of course, is exactly what her Real Housewife mom, Laurie, is doing since she had never learned any marketable skills. But, she is following in her mom's footsteps in other ways.
In earlier Real Housewives episodes mom went to the Playboy mansion. So, her daughter and the other "spokes-models" on the show are getting ready for their initiation to the Playboy mansion.
I think we all know where this story is headed. Not much action in the real estate market, but there is bound to be some guys they meet at the Playboy mansion willing to get them started in a thrilling career in "modeling," "acting," and "dancing." Clothing optional. And they don't have to try to speak English like in that silly "spokes-model" gig.
And even insurance agent Vicki gets bit by the real estate bug. She decides to invest in another house in Coto de Caza. She was thinking of "downsizing."
What they don't tell you on the show is she bought at the peak of the market – with 10 percent down - from a guy that was desperate to sell. Vicki immediately put it back on the market and, seven months later, it's still for sale. One of my real estate friends tells me it would likely sell now for about 30 percent less than what she paid – a loss of more than $450,000.
This Really Whacky Housewives train is going to keep chugging along. Like the imploding real estate market, all we can do is watch. Next stop Ladera Ranch. "All aboard!"

Jo's Life in LA

Lauri's son lives w/George's ex!!

'Housewives' son lashes out at his mom

FRANK MICKADEIT
In this new season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," Lauri Waring likens the merging of her family and that of new beau George Peters onto "The Brady Bunch."

I guess I missed the episode in which Carol kicks Greg out of the house and he's forced to borrow clothes from Sam the Butcher. Or the one where Greg, with nowhere else to turn, moves in with Mike's ex-wife. Not only is the truth of the Waring-Peterson merger far more twisted than "The Brady Bunch," it's far more twisted than even what is portrayed on the "Housewives."
I've always said it was the Housewives' kids I felt sorry for.

Last year, I soberly advised them to run away, live on roadkill for awhile and ultimately stow away on an outbound O.C. Fair truck because they stood a better chance of being raised properly by carnies than by their parents. In particular, I wrote, it was Lauri's troubled teenage son, Josh, for whom I felt the worst. His mom bared his problems with pot and truancy for the world to see. Even newspapers protect delinquent minors by not naming them in most cases. What mother would give her son less protection than a degenerate newspaper editor would?

Anyway, about a month ago, Josh turned 18 and he called me. We arranged to meet at the Starbucks at PCH and Crown Valley Parkway, not far from where he's staying with Peterson's ex-wife, Gina. (Imagine what Angelina Jolie would look like if Angelina Jolie had been a little more blessed in the looks department.) Josh has grown into a good-looking, fairly well-spoken young man. He is also a very angry young man – angry at his mom for, in his opinion, exploiting him and then abandoning him in favor of the millionaire developer George and the lifestyle he can provide.

Lauri tells a much different story, and we'll get to it. But what follows today is Josh's version: About this time last year, he and some underage friends – including George's and Gina's son – were out late one night in Lauri's car and got pulled over for a curfew violation. Lauri was in New York City with George, so Gina took in Josh. The curfew bust was a violation of his probation for his earlier drug problems. When Lauri returned, she signed him over to the state, which put him in a treatment center in Apple Valley. He remained there until December, when he turned 18 and was released. He was clean when he left, Josh says, and remains clean.
Lauri, who had moved into George's Newport Beach house by then, allowed Josh to stay in her Ladera Ranch townhouse and use her car. One of the rules was: no parties. She came by one night to discover about five of his friends in the home, which Josh says didn't constitute a "party," and kicked him out. No clothes, he says, and no car. He had earned his high school diploma and was to start at Saddleback College. Without a car, he had to drop out. He now lives with Gina, whom his mother reviles and who is locked in a prolonged custody battle with George.

"She has changed," Josh says of his mom. "She's a different person. I don't know if the show went to her head, or what. At one point, she went off to Europe (with George) and left me with the home and the car. I don't think she wanted to parent me."

He said he called her from Apple Valley, told her he was getting into fights constantly because "I was the only white kid" and was "looking for some empathy in her voice – anything – but there was none. All I heard was, 'I'm going to Europe with George,' and she was gone."
"Since I've known George, I can count up a million dollars he's dropped on my mom." (Lauri says this figure is greatly exaggerated.)

Of his participation on the TV show, Josh says, "My mom was willing to expose (my problems) but not willing to handle it. It was public entertainment, which pretty much disgusts me. ... If turning your son into a disposable item was necessary for success, she was willing to do it. If you watch this season, it's disgusting the lies I put on for my mom. I don't know why I put that face on for her. Maybe I was hoping she'd spend time with me."

Josh says he wants to get a job, re-enroll in college and get a business degree. The day we met, he had just scheduled a job interview at a south county restaurant. When our interview was over, we went to my car and I gave him an old sports coat, a pair of slacks and a half-dozen dress shirts.

Accuser: Wife tried to steal boyfriend'Real' Housewife also a 'desperate' one?
FRANK MICKADEIT

The mystery surrounding the Scott Bryant case has been this: What exactly caused the long-simmering rift between the Bryants and Jana Kindchadwick that culminated in Scott allegedly belting Jana one fine evening last June? Taking the stand yesterday in Judge Everett Dickey's courtroom, the accuser told us: Scott's wife, ex-Housewife Kimberly Bryant, had hit on Jana's boyfriend. Neither Bryant has taken the stand yet, so we don't know their side.

All we have so far is what Kindchadwick, a 43-year-old former fitness club manager, testified to. Jana and her boyfriend, Ron Baer, had been friends with the Bryants mainly because Baer had been Kimberly's fitness instructor at Coto's Golf & Racquet Club. (I'm not a member. They let anybody in.)

At some point, Baer dumped Kimberly as a client. Scott Bryant's attorney, Michael Molfetta, asked Jana whether this was because of a sexual harassment complaint the Bryants supposedly made against Baer. No, she replied, "because she (Kimberly) was the one who wanted to be more than just a client." Later, Molfetta asked Jana if she had sent Kimberly a message calling her "the c-word" and a "skank." Replied Jana: "I'm sure I sent a text to her when I found out she was trying to steal my boyfriend."So Molfetta established there was bad blood between the two couples well before the party last June 10 and that, possibly, Jana had cause to be aggressive toward Scott – providing his self-defense defense. Unfortunately, this had to be established at the expense of Kimberly being revealed as a possible, well, skank.

Pity. The jury is seven men and five women, all at least 35 and a couple probably double that. Three acknowledged they'd seen a little of the "Real Housewives" but said it hadn't made an impression. One man said he hates reality T.V. Molfetta himself called the show "a train wreck." Until opening statements the jurors had been given only the barest hint what this case was about. So when prosecutor Jason Ochs, during his brief opening, said he would prove Scott had hit a woman "with a closed-fist punch to the face" – twice – you should have seen the jurors' faces. One old boy in the back row – I have him pegged for about 75 – literally had his mouth hanging open. First into the witness box was a 13-year-old girl named Tiffany (what else?) testifying she saw Scott hit Jana. There's not much debate about that, so the main thing I took away from her was that this girl, then 12, had been summoned to the party at nearly midnight in the first place so she could bring over more vodka and ice from her nearby home. "We were all freaked out," she said of the fight. … What I did on my summer vacation, by Tiffany G.

Next up was the party hostess, Janine Sabella, who recounted the story she told me last year. The Bryants arrived uninvited, Kimberly insulted the hair extensions of a woman named Bridget and made some comment about Jana that got back to Jana. (I'll be candid. This has been a cultural awakening for me. Before last summer, I didn't even know there werehair extensions.) Anyway, Jana confronted Kimberly and tossed a Red Bull on her when Kimberly ignored her. About 45 minutes later, Scott got wind of it, doused Jana with champagne and hit her twice in the face with a closed fist. Jana's own version was similar, and I'm sure we're going to hear similar versions from other witnesses. Molfetta is picking away at the details on cross examination right now.

His witnesses will no doubt build a version that will differ on one critical point – who the aggressor was.Molfetta did score a pretty good hit on Jana, bringing out that a civil attorney wrote him a letter on her behalf offering to make the criminal case "go away" for $10,000. "I told him to buzz off," Molfetta said. Jana said the attorney was a friend of hers and not formally retained.

She also seemed to realize that neither she nor any attorney has the power to get the D.A. to drop charges. Nonetheless, Molfetta tripped her up when she at first said she did not authorize the $10,000 offer, but later conceded she was aware her attorney was going to ask for that amount.Molfetta's point: She has all the motive in the world to see Bryant convicted because she's already looking at cleaning up in some kind of civil action. She returns to the stand this morning.

Lou Knickerbocker passed away

LOU KNICKERBOCKER
Tammy's ex-husband and father of her two daughters passed away suddenly of a massive heart attack on April 24, 2007 at the age of 67. Knickerbocker has remarried a Tai woman and is survived by his wife, Netdao and seven children. The memorial service was held April 30. Tammy and Lou enjoyed a 9000 square foot house until he lost it all and Tammy divorced him. He went into real estate and set up a few thriving businesses before he passed away. Sadly he had always promised his girls they would be taken care and never have to work. He did not have financially have anything set up to take care of the girls as he had promised and they were left with nothing.

2nd Season Re-Cap

The second season brought us one new girl, Tammy Knickerbocker who replaced Kimberly Bryant as the Bryant's moved to Chicago to get out of the sun.

TAMMY KNICKERBOCKER

Tammy was married to Lou Knickerbocker and has two daughters with him. She also has a little boy by her former boyfriend Duff who happens to now be working for Vicki in the insurance business. Tammy is pressured by Duff to get back together as he feels he is everything she needs. However, she makes is clear to him she isn't interested. She goes on a blind date that was a disaster as she assured her shocked date that she never 'puts out'. Her daughters are extremely spoiled by daddy and the younger one is seen in one episode with other female children of OC housewives modeling for Lou to promote the OC Energy Drink. They used to live in a large home but Lou lost his business and they were divorced. Tammy is now in a home that Jeanna found for her.

THE REST OF THE GALS -

Joe -
We see Joe whining constantly about the fact that Slade doesn't like her habit of drinking herself silly without him but still wants his money. At the end of the season they break up and at the last BBQ of the year we see Slade with a date. He also dated Lauri for a bit after Jo. Jo accepted a job at a title insurance office in Beverly Hills and moved to LA with her lamebrain friend JJ. She moved to a very small apartment. Jo also was seen working on launching her music career if you can call it that. I'm not sure anyone, except self promoting Slade, has been impressed with her efforts. She did manage to get a recording contract but obviously it is simply to promote the recording company since she is currently getting her 15 minutes of fame.

Vicki -
Vicki's daughter goes off to nursing school and her son to college in Colorado. Vicki shows up without warning at her son's frat house and he is very rude and tells her she should have called. She cries but in the end they make up and all is well especially since mom Vicki brought the beer! Definitely as controlling as ever. Looks like the only enjoyment she has is when her and Donn go to Havasu to enjoy their boat and friends on the lake. A far cry from their pretentious life in Coto.

Jeanna -
Jeanna sends Shane off to college so he can actually be responsible for himself and work on getting a baseball contract. She continues to sell house after house but has no relationship on camera with her husband unless he is slamming doors or putting her down.

Lauri -
Lauri is now dating millionaire George and she couldn't be happier. She continues to have issues with her son but you never see her make any effort. Her daughter takes over the condo since mom moves in with George. Her daughter allows the pets to run rampant and poop all over the condo. Looks like in a year she hasn't learned anything about responsibility. The kids are basically on their own while mom moves on with George. She does take her 5 year old with her to George's house. She goes on a vacation with George and is thoroughly enjoying her new status in life. She claims she is Republican but doesn't really understand exactly what they entails. She is working less and less and Vicki seems a bit jealous. She is also worried that Lauri relies on George too much to financially take care of her and she can be in the same boat again just as she was last year. George proposes at the end of the year and delivers a brand new luxury car to her after a photo shoot for the ladies.

2nd season renewal

The Real Housewives' first season averaged 646,000 total viewers, 503,000 viewers between ages 18-49, and 440,000 viewers between 25-54 -- numbers that represented a 19% increase in Bravo's previous year's time period average in total viewers, a 47% increase in Adults 18-49, and a 26% increase in Adults 25-54. The Real Housewives also had a median age of 34.4, a figure that made it youngest-skewing show on Bravo's schedule during its first season run.

Matt Keough DUI

Now we know why Matt wasn't seen during filming.

Life-changing moment leads to jail, rehab, perspective
Article by Susan Stusser
Tuesday, February 14, 2006

(02-14) 04:00 PST Rancho Santa Margarita, Orange County --
At a restaurant only a block from the intersection where his life changed forever, Keough, a 1978 All-Star pitcher for the A's, spoke matter-of-factly about his personal and legal troubles over the past 10 months. He has not had an easy time of it since that night in April when, after a family argument, he had too much to drink and got in his car.
On April 4, 2005, at about 10 p.m., Keough rear-ended another vehicle at a red light on Santa Margarita Parkway in this southeast Orange County town, near his home in Coto de Caza. The car he struck rolled into a pedestrian walking his bicycle across the street. Enrique Torres-Figueroa was briefly hospitalized with a knee injury.
Making matters worse, Keough wandered away after the accident. He said he did not flee the scene, as some reports indicated, but he was so disoriented, he walked toward some nearby shops where he was tracked down by police officers. His blood-alcohol level was twice the legal limit, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
Keough, 50, eventually pled guilty to the felony charges. While his case was going through the court system, he was receiving help for binge drinking. He voluntarily checked himself into the Betty Ford Clinic for a month, and followed that with five months of an outpatient program, Sober Living by the Sea, in Newport Beach.

Newbies - Season One Re-Cap

For all you newbies out there this post is to catch you up on the first two years. Basically producer, Scott Dunlop, who also lives in Coto de Caza, thought it would be a great idea to show the rest of the world how the housewives of Coto live their lives. Coto is an affluent gated, community in Orange County, California. The show premiered in March of 2006.

For those of you who do not live in California this show will confirm every stereotype you have of California high maintenance women.

Following are the women and their stories...

JO DE LA ROSA -
Jo is a 24 year old immigrant from Peru. Her parents won the California Lottery which enabled them to move to Mission Viejo, CA from Tustin, CA. She graduated from UC Irvine with an English degree and began working in the title insurance industry where she met Slade Smiley. Joe is living with Slade in a very large, home in Coto de Caza. Slade is in his forties and wants Joe to be a housewife and stay home, cook for him and help take care of his two children, Grayson (5) and Gavin (16), from ex-relationships. Jo, loves the money aspect but isn't so into cooking, cleaning (she claims she doesn't know what Pledge is), or taking care of Slade's kids. Joe is into what all 24 year olds are into, clubbing and having fun. But what's a girl to do when her boyfriend/daddy Slade buys her a Mercedes and anything else her little vixen self desires. She does get engaged to Slade in Season 1. Slade constantly talks about how much money he has and how successful he is. She pretty much muddles through the 1st year as the sexy, young, not so housewifey newcomer to the neighborhood who constantly pretends not to know what everyday household items are or how to use them.

KIMBERLY BRYANT

She is a 40-something stay at home mom. She seems very caring and works hard to maintain her household as well as take care of her two children. She did get a breast augmentation to go from an A cup to a D cup for her husband. She said on the show that her husband asked her to get them after he noticed so many women in Coto have them so she thought why not? We find out that she has had melanoma and has to be extremely careful in the sun. At the end of the first year she is shown packing up and leaving to move her family to Chicago to get out of the sun. Apparently she had another scare as did her son. She is not in Season 2 or Season 3.

VICKI GUNVALSON

Vicki is a 40+ something, extremely successful insurance salesman who works out of her home. Her husband was out of a job for much of the first season. She has a son and daughter from her first marriage. She is very very controlling with her job, friends and family. Her children are given lists they must complete before she allows them to do anything else and she is found screaming on the phone to a van driver that did not bring a large enough van for the family to go the airport. She doesn't have much personal time and seems very insecure about her looks. Her daughter appears very responsible while her son is lazy and not exactly interested in following his mothers orders. She enjoys botox parties to try to stay young. She is very impressive as a woman who grew her insurance business into a very profitable money maker. She grew up in a middle class family in the mid-west. Her husband Donn is very down to earth but can get irritated with her when she doesn't listen and everything is done her way.

JEANA KEOUGH
Jeana is a pretty, heavy set, 52 year old top Real Estate agent married to an ex-professional baseball player who pitched for the Oakland A's. She was a Playboy Playmate of the month in 1980. She was also a back-up dancer in ZZ Top videos. They have two boys and a girl. Their daughter is a straight A student who has a good head on her shoulders and plays volleyball. Her older son Shane is crass, disrespectful and allowed to behave like a spoiled rich kid. He is known as the rabbit killer in Coto and claims to be a virgin. He flirts heavily with Jo but is pretty immature in his male/female relationship ability. Younger son Colton is a very talented baseball player who stutters in the first season whenever his bullying older brother is around. Shane seems to take great pleasure, as most brothers do, in constantly annoying his little brother. The father isn't around much and is said to always be traveling due to baseball. Jeanna, like Vicki, is very successful in her career. She is in the top 2% of other Real Estate agents nationwide that work for Re-Max. She is shown talking about how each of her children already own a home that she purchased for them. One wonders if these kids will ever attempt to work for anything since everything is handed to them.

LAURI WARING

She is a 46 year old, multiple divorced mother of three. She has two girls and a boy. Season one shows her commiserating on how she had to move out of Coto and downsize to a condo after her last divorce. Although she used to model her looks range from pretty to used/been around the block one too many times. Her son is in juvy for getting in trouble one too many times. Her daughter moves back in and has zero responsibility and seems to completely lack common sense. Lauri takes a job working for Vicki in her insurance business to make ends meet. The highlight of her year is to go to an invitation only party at the Playboy mansion where she enjoys pretending she is still 20 without any kids or responsibilities. Who wouldn't want to do that for a night? Of the 5 women from the first show, aside from Jo, Lauri is the one who really needs a dose of reality. Lauri's son is in juvy, her daughter moved back in without a job and isn't attending school and she has a young impressionable daughter to raise. Let's hope Lauri wakes up before it is too late for her young daughter Sophie to be on her own to navigate the world without any idea how it works.
